Raised in Angola and Portugal, my first introduction to music was through the records of Ray Charles. The interest blossomed when I was introduced to the guitar as a teenager, which led to collaborations and periodic jam sessions with local musicians in Viana do Castelo (Portugal) and London.

After being part of a few short-lived bands, I was left with a desire to explore different realms of music making. From engaging with different instruments and developing an interest in composition to recording, Crimson was born: a five-track EP that brings together many different influences, interpolated into a sonic odyssey. LOULOU, the follow-up, was crafted with the intent to push that sonic exploration further.
